This special expedition includes the Mantas and Whale Sharks at Baa Atoll - the benchmark experience of its kind in the world! When not diving Baa, the diving will be on undersea mounds – called thilas – with many caverns and overhangs that are plastered with pretty, pastel soft corals. The dives are colorful and the huge variety of fish use the caverns for shelter. Smaller critters seen regularly include frogfish and lobsters, popcorn and mantis shrimp and nudibranchs. The reefs rival any in the world for color and variety of marine life.
The Maldives Princess has 11 comfortable staterooms for 22 guests: 9 staterooms on the lower deck, 2 luxurious ocean view suites on the upper deck. All cabins are air-conditioned with TV, video, Blue ray DVD, stereo and have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water. The main deck hosts a spacious lounge that accommodates a seating area with a panoramic view, a bar and the lounge is equipped with a flat screen TV, video, DVD, stereo and internet connection. Also a separate camera charging AC room. A variety of meals are served 3 times a day which can be enjoyed either in the lounge or outdoor dining area where you can relish the sea view and the fresh air.
