Julie was originally certified as a PADI open water diver in 1980 in California but didn't utilize her certification. In January 2007 she took a PADI Scuba Tune-Up and almost immediately thereafter got Dry Suit Certified to be able to enjoy the chilly but beautiful waters of Monterey, California. In August of 2008 Julie retired after a 20 year career in Law Enforcement in Northern California and moved to Nashville Tennessee and is pursuing her true passion, writing. She is working on revisions to the draft of a memoir and works part-time in the Bluewater retail shop. She has traveled to the Bahamas for diving on Blackbeards and to Belize.

My first diving experience was in the summer of 2008.  The location was great - Costa Rica; the diving conditions, unfortunately - not so much.  Recent storms had left visibility poor and turbulence high.  With my enthusiasm undaunted, the following summer I obtained my Open Water certification.  Now in 2011, I have successfully completed my Open Water Diver Instructor exams. I am eager to share my passion for diving with others.  Though once contented to be a mild mannered electrician, I am now convinced that it’s “the pirate’s life for me”!

Jeff has recently become a PADI Instructor after many years of recreational and technical diving. He has experience diving off the coast of Florida, The Bahamas, Bonaire, Cozumel, Maui and many other beautiful places.  He has participated in many deep technical dives off the coast of Florida as well as various springs and caverns throughout the state.  Jeff has logged numerous dives in quarries throughout middle and east Tennessee.  You may have even seen him dive at the Aquarium Restaurant at Opry Mills.   He can teach a variety of courses including Advanced Open Water, Nitrox/enriched air, Peak Performance Buoyancy and is also an Emergency First Response Instructor.  Due to his regular job in the entertainment business he has a non traditional schedule which allows him to have the ability to work with students who may have non traditional schedules.

I got hooked on diving on a snorkeling trip during a cruise. After that trip a got certified to dive and began taking all of the classes I could so I could finish my divemaster cert in my first year. I logged over 75 dives in my first year of diving and try to stay in the water as much as possible. I enjoy training dives in the local quarries and winter training in the springs of Florida. I am also a EFR instructor and can train through divemaster. I would love to help you get your open water cert or help in any of your advanced certifications. Remember to "live to dive, dive to live".

After watching National Geographic documentary about sharks at age 4, Josh decided that he wanted to pursue a career in marine biology and learn to scuba dive as soon as he was old enough.  He achieved his PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification at when he turned 13.  After five years of diving, Josh decided to further his training by becoming a PADI Divemaster.  He took time off from diving in 2007 to obtain his Masters degree, and then returned to diving in early 2011 to train as an equipment technician at Hall’s Dive Center in Marathon Key and become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.  In addition to being a biologist and a scuba instructor, Josh is a self-styled “geek of all trades”, claiming extensive knowledge in the fields of comic books, Japanese anime, horror films, and video games.

Hello fellow divers. My adventures in diving started in October of 2006 after a snorkeling trip to the Keys. I knew then that diving was for me. As my interest in diving grew so did my interest to help others learn the adventures of diving as well. Becoming a Dive Master / Assistant Instructor gave me the chance to help others with the same passion for diving as I have. With well over 100 dives I’ve had the pleasure of diving in the Key’s, St. Johns, Belize and a trip on Blackbeard’s. One of my favorite dives of all I would have to say…Epcot in Orlando. I also can’t forget the local diving as it is also a treat when I’m not able to make a trip to the deep blue sea. So wait no more and come join the Dozman for an adventure of a lifetime in our underwater world!!!!!
