Bluewater Scuba expands
into Cool Springs!

I am very excited to share the news that effective March 1, 2010,
Bluewater Scuba acquired the assets of the business formerly operating under the name of Middle Tennessee Scuba & Swim, which was founded in 1999 by Rick Heydel.

As a result of this union, the combined business will retain the name of
Bluewater Scuba but will be operating out of the 320 Mallory Station Road,
Franklin, TN 37067 address.  With almost 9000 square feet of retail,
training, and pool space, this move provides Bluewater Scuba with a nicer
facility, a much larger indoor pool, and plenty of room for future growth. 
Effective March 2, 2010, the current Bluewater Scuba location on
White Bridge Road has been closed to more easily allow for the merging of
the two businesses.      
If you have equipment that has been serviced and you have received a
confirmation call, then you can pick up your equipment at the 320 Mallory
Station Road location in Franklin.  The direct number in Cool Springs is:

Need your Equipment Serviced?
We service ScubaPro, Aqualung, Apex, Tusa for all annual services and can provide tune-ups on most all other regulators.  Our turn-a-round is 2 weeks on all annual service brands and three weeks on all others.

Reminder:  To maintain your warranty and Free Parts for life for all ScubaPro and Aqualung regulators, remember to have your equipment serviced by an Authorized Dealer within a 12 month cycle.  Call for questions.

What is "Try Scuba"?
If you are curious about getting certified or have any apprehension (ie., you think you might be closterphic under the water), then you can take our "Try Scuba" class that gives you the ability to try it out first before you invest more time & money in the Open Water training class for beginners.  Call for details.

What are my options if I want to get certified but I do not see a class that works with my schedule?

The easiest answer is call or email us.  Often times we can work around your schedule to create a flexible class structure.  Since we have our own pool, we can create private classes to meet your time restrictions.  More than 30% of our customers take advantage of this option.  If you want to get certified, we can generally find a time that works within your time-frame and our availability.

If you have specific dates in mind, please let us know and we will work diligently to accomodate your request if you have a small group committed to training.

Meeting your personal objectives is the job of PADI professional Scuba Schools and Instructors. Whether your goal is to dive on shallow water reefs, deep water wrecks, or any other type of diving, they can create a training program just for you and get you started on a lifetime of exciting adventure.

Your adventure could begin with one of our accelerated beginning programs like Discover Scuba. Or maybe your ready to become a certified diver, then the Open Water Diver program is for you. Then again, maybe you just need to recapture the feeling of total confidence by updating the diving skills you learned as an Open Water Diver. Then our Scuba Tune-Up is just for you. And PADI's Snorkeling program is full of fun tips and advice to help make snorkeling easier and more enjoyable.

Eight to fifteen year olds can join in the fun of diving too! Bubblemakers is a chance for 8-9 yr. olds to try scuba in the shallow end of our pool. The PADI SEAL TEAM is a scuba-based activities club that not only teaches scuba skills, but also goal-setting, self-esteem, discipline and respect for the aquatic environment. Children 10 to 14 can also begin a lifetime of adventure with PADI's Junior Open Water Diver program; an entry-level certification program for kids.
